The Holy Cross of Davao College, Inc. (HCDC) is a community of Christ- centered evangelizers educated in the faith and animated by the passion for truth, justice, peace and service.

As members of this Filipino archdiocesan educational institution, we commit ourselves:

My Trip to Nature

     One of the best experience in your life is to be close to nature. Nature can give you peace in mind. Out of pollution, out of crowd is what people want for some time. Human needs to unwind for being preoccupied in the real world and nature is the best answer to wipe away all the stress you have.

     Last semester, we have an educational fieldtrip at Lao Farm and Panabo Mariculture Park. This trip was an activity in my Agricultural Marketing subject. It was fun for I learn and acquire new things about agriculture. I was able to be close to nature and experience the best way the nature could give.

Confused Mind

We have our own specialty. Specialty in this part or specialty in that part. However, our specialty is not like a mushroom that will just grow as it is, it is something we have to look and work for it. We try and try until we got to know on which part we are the best. We may be confused as we go along the process but it will lead us to a better future.

At the beginning of my college years, I take up BS in Accountancy. I was confused on what course I will take so I was like being hypnotized by my friend to also took up the course she is taking. Unfortunately, it didn't work out so I shifted to BS in Business Administration major in Marketing Management. I also didn't know why I take up this course but as I think about it I found out that this course will help me. My questions was answered. I am taking this course and almost done with it because this course has something to do with my passion which is all about crafting.Lastly, I am planning to take my 2nd course sooner which is specially about agriculture.

I may be never be good to choose at first, at least I may choose the best in the last. Though it is not easy, sooner it will be all in in its place.

A Journey to Success

To have a degree is the best way to stay in our competitive world. We go to school to learn, acquire and experience new things. The school trains us to be be skillfully competitive in the future. They mold us and they get out the best in us. Thus, being in school to learn is a journey to ones success.

My parents sent me to school of which they trust in making me in who and what I am today. I am fortunate to study at Holy Cross of Davao College. From grade 2 to grade 6, I spent almost of my elementary years at Prof. Hermann Gmeiner School-Holy Cross of Davao College. I love it there. I experience things like being in a sport, dancing, singing and having friends. I also spent my 2years in high school at HCDC. I am a 4th year BSBA-Marketing Management student in the same school.

HCDC did bring out the best in me. They mold me well to be confident in everything. I learn a lot in this school and I love the activities they have.

From now, almost half of my life was spent in this school and I am very much thankful of it for contributing for who I am today. For me, HCDC is the best and will always be the best.

Me, Myself and I

Being yourself is the greatest circumstance that you have done in your life. You must perform things that you are capable to do. Love yourself, care for yourself and be yourself.

I am Nicamae Mangarin Lu, born on the 25th day of May and now a 20 year old grown up lass. Happily, we are seven in the family, my father, mother, two brothers and two sisters. I am the third person to live for nine months in my mothers womb and I am so blessed that I was given the opportunity to live in this lovely creation of God.

Fortunately, we are living at La Verna Hills Subdivision in the city of Davao. I am raised by my parents to be good and have fear in God. They sent me to school to learn and experience new things. Luckily, I am now a 4th year college student at Holy Cross of Davao College.

I wanted to do plenty of things. To travel around the world, to be rich in my own hardwork, to eat delicious food, to have an outing with my family and relatives, to go shopping with my friends and many more. I am fond of singing, watching movies, going outwith my friends, listening music and a lot more things that I love to do.

I love being myself and I am happily living in reality.
